Our stay was a PERFECT 10/10 experience. The hotel itself was beautiful small and intimate. Greatly enjoyed our excellent breakfast with healthy options, juices also, generous portions. The staff there were very pleasant and outstandingly accommodating.

Room was as near perfect as we could imagine. Bed very comfortable, bed linen good quality. Towels really good size. Room very clean. Lovely gardens.
Only criticism with room was that the water pressure in the shower was weak, and it was difficult to control the temperature. Breakfast was nicely cooked, but a little unexciting.

The breakfast included coffee and tea, overall it was excellent. I found the hotel's location particularly good, just next door to Sun Inn pub, Hardy's Cottage, and the walled garden.- It was 1 km from Wolfeton House.

Convenient to Dorchester and the superior quality accommodation together with the relative ease of travel to areas I wished to visit The food, staff and welcome were all superb and the grounds impressive. Car parking was available and papers provided for guests to read in a comfortable lounge.

The location in a beautiful setting was good and stunning. It's near rural Dorset, fantastic gardens. Ideally located on the outskirts of Dorchester and within easy access of the South Coast and local restaurants.
